Open the Interface –

• First of all, Double click on the orange icon from the windows system tray or Go to the start and select Avast from the Programs list.
• After entering into the page, you will see the status "Firewall is active". 
• Click on this active toggle; you will then move to the "Tools" section. 
• Select "Firewall" from there.

Disable the firewall – 

• After clicking the "active"; you will see options to pause the firewall. 
• Select one of the four options and click yes to confirm your decision:

1. "Stop for 10 minutes".
2. "Stop for 1 hour".
3. "Stop until next restart".
4. "Stop indefinitely".

How to ensure it is disabled – 

When you have done everything correctly, then the Avast status should change to yellow with the warning notification "Firewall is disabled".

How to again turn it on

If you want to again turn it on, just tap on the 'TURN ON' catch or repeat the same steps. If you need to permanently disable the Avast Firewall, then you can remove the warning by clicking on the prompt "Ignore". At that point, your Avast will be 'green' again with no notice, despite the fact that Firewall is actually not enabled.
